restore session mozilla firefox not responding

Any suggestions.?Ī problem caused this program to stop interacting with Windows. Meanwhile.I pasted the info below that shows when this happens. I haven't paid any attention to the difference between restart prior vs new.I'll have to check that part out. I originally get to the site just fine.do a search and when Ancestry opens for the results it stalls out.and offers me the option to restart prior session or new. Might be worth a try to just wait and see if it eventually loads the tabs.I am having a similar nning Vista Business with Firefox (latest version).and have the problem with the site. I figured it was a computer memory issue, although with 8GB of memory and only FF as the only running app that seemed odd. Then wait eventually the tabs would be restored. Sometimes I'd see an error popup that I would OK and click through. It seems that if I left it alone then FF would eventually open all of the tabs. This extension broke due to bug 761723, and a fixed version hasn’t been released to AMO yet. The problems include broken menu items like the one that opens the Add-ons Manager and broken links in Firefox windows, like the About dialog.

I don't know if this will help, but for me it sometimes worked if I just left Firefox alone for some time. The popular Tab Mix Plus extension is causing some problems for users in Firefox 17. They will always be restored only as 'New Tab's. And then, after that is completed (hours later), I still cannot save the tabs in the session.

Presently, to restore my tabs, I must go to my history folders and reopen each tab, one at a time, which takes forever. Is it possibly due to a new version of Firefox not being compatible with my Unload Tabs add-on? Is there any fix? This is a relatively new problem for me, beginning a few weeks ago.
